OUR VISIONARY

PRISCILLA O'NEILL

I have been achievement advising by helping families navigate the multitude of college and career options for over twelve years.

My dedication to the professions is demonstrated by my on campus college visits, professionally touring over 125 colleges across the nation. I holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Stockton University as well as a graduate certificate in counseling. I have also received my certificate in independent educational consulting with distinction from the University of California.

Contributing to the community has been critical for me through the years. For example, I was on the board of “Each one Teach one” a community based teen outreach for educational equity. My leadership in the community as a former Toastmaster area director and BNI director demonstrate the value of service and leadership exercised in my life. In addition, I have been a workshop speaker for Women of Color in STEM national conference. Last year I introduced the topic of intellectual property to students focused on STEM as a career.

I along with the team have created the proprietary college planning system called the “4 Phase College Strategy” that guides students in academic strategies and guidance toward their interest as part of their college planning. The strategy develops meta cognition in students utilizing the tool of commitment to the community. Students can do this through the “Achievement Award” program which motivates students to participate in a significant way serving their community. The Achievement Award focuses on the non-cognitive skills in education that happen outside of the classroom. Developing student readiness for college, combining non-cognitive skills with the student’s great academic record to create innovative options for students. None of this happened overnight, but with years of observing and studying students as they transitioned to find themselves and their dream field of study.

I am delighted to be a part of this online option for families and students to grow in self development, research and give back to their communities.

My husband and I live in Texas and have four adult children and three grandchildren.
